Terms and Conditions

1. GENERAL

Your reservation is final once we received a deposit of 30% by bank transfer. We would like to receive the remainder latest 14 days before arrival date.If the full payment has not been received 14 days before the arrival date, we assume that the reservation is cancelled and the deposit payment will be converted into cancellation- and booking fees. We are not responsible for the content on other sites (links). By making the (deposit) payment, you confirm agreement of the below mentioned Terms and Conditions and an official agreement is in place between the guest and Maison Egalite. If the (deposit) payment is not received within one week after booking, we reserve the right to release the room for rental again. Payment is only possible by bank transfer or cash. Any extra bank charges or money transfer costs (i.e. payments outside the EU) are for the guest.

2. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Changes can only be accepted in consultation with and after written permission from Maison Egalité. Until 30 days before arrival date, you can cancel your reservation without any cost and the deposit will be returned to you (minus any possible bank costs). If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before your arrival date this does not entitle you to a refund of the deposit. If you cancel between 8 and 14 days before arrival date, you will receive a refund of 50% of the total payment (minus any possible bank costs). If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, this does not entitle you to a refund of the full payment. The full payment will be converted into cancellation- and booking fees. Upon request, we will arrange the necessary documents for you for your cancellation insurance.

3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

On the day of arrival, your room is at your disposal as from 16.00. On the day of departure, we request you to leave the room before 11.00.

4. TOURIST TAX

All prices are exclusive of tourist tax. This is € 0.75 per person per night.

5. INSURANCES

It is recommended that you take out travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accident, cancellation and personal property.

6. RESPONSIBILITY

Maison Egalité cannot be held responsible for any possible damage, loss, theft or other incident whatever the matter. When guest damages the property and/or its goods they are responsible for the costs for reparation or replacement.

7. YOUR STAY – PETS – SMOKING

Our guests are requested to observe the house rules of Maison Egalité and to respect the properties of Maison Egalité as well as the properties and privacy of other guests. Smoking is not allowed within Maison Egalité. No pets are allowed (unless prior approval of Maison Egalité).

8. FORCE MAJEURE

If Maison Egalité has to cancel a reservation due to force majeure, the deposit will be refunded. Maison Egalité does not accept any liability for any other loss, damage or additional expense for the guests, caused by this force majeure.

9. GDPR – your data

We use your data for our administration (booking, payments) and to fulfill regulatory rules and maybe one or two information emails a year. We are not sharing your data to 3^rd parties.
